LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. There are four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic gold medals. James has earned the second most career goals and seventh most assists. James has been named as an NBA All-Star 18 times. He was named to be an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever, including eight in succession between 2011 and 2018, James was also chosen to join The NBA 75th Anniversary team. James has been chosen for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has accumulated 10,000 or more points, rebounds, and assists during his professional career, in 2022. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. Media across the country portrayed James as a possible NBA star. In 2003 his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. The 2004 NBA Rookie of Year he soon established himself as one of the top league players, winning an NBA MVP Award in 2010 and 2009. In the end, he failed to capture an NBA championship, Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to be a part of with the Miami Heat this was announced in the television program The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices in sports history.
