Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
Sasha became transgender in the early years of her time in high school. These were tough years, but Sasha believed that with the support of his family and music that he was able to handle any situation. Jim and Sasha are both song writers, and are now an official duo and have been playing at open mics and different venues around the city. The Voice coaches never discussed the background of Sasha, however Jim and Sasha have shared their story in a video clip played prior to their performance. Sasha and Jim discussed music that they enjoy and how they first started playing guitar at age six. The father of Sasha is a music instructor, making it easier to learn the art for his. Sasha was born a female and struggled with his identity when he was a kid. In an Instagram post the teen shared his struggles. Jim fell to his knees in tears when he revealed the reason of why he was unable to participate in. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant was born a girl. Sasha Allen turns 19 in 2021. Sasha made the transition a male freshman at high school. Sasha said on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person ever to be featured on the show and I'm excited to represent transgender people on such a large platform."
