Jamie Colby
Colby is a National News Correspondent, and Anchor in Fox News. He has been with the company since July of 2003. Colby worked as an anchor, reporter and journalist for CBS News prior to moving to FOX News Channel. Colby worked as a stand-in on CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney admitted to practice law within New York, California, Florida and The District of Columbia. In 2002, she was awarded the Edward R.Murrow National Award for reporting on the attacks of 9/11. Colby also received the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000 as well as in 2001, the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Star to Follow". Colby had a background as an attorney and, along with her professional career as a journalist, worked for 10 years in private practice. Her law practice started at an Hollywood entertainment firm, which assigned her to The Tonight Show. At 22, she worked on behalf of Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC and during the divorce. Colby is host and reporter of Strange Inheritance, a show on Fox Business, covering quirky or unforeseen legacy left by loved ones or relatives.
