Berenice Marlohe was born in Paris, France in May 1979. Ten years were spent studying at the Conservatoire de Paris. Her first appearance came in the short film La Discordance in 2007. In 2010 she played an ongoing role for the film Medical Emergency. Her most well-known role was in the role of the anti-heroine Bond female Severine in the twenty-third James Bond film Skyfall. The film also featured her in Happiness Never Comes Alone, 5 to 7, and Pere & Mayre. She has appeared in the TV series Pas de secrets entre nous, Femmes de loi, Le temps est a l'orage, Pere et maire, and R.I.S. Police scientifique. In 2012, her role as Skyfall's supporting actress earned her an award from the National Film Society Award for the Best Supporting Artist.
