Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet area located in the West Island of Montreal is home to a number of small businesses. For those who don't know, the name tend to think it's a isolated island to the west of Montreal In reality, there is a lot more to it. West Island is home to anything and everything that is found in the city of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on the West Island, although the time she spent there was brief. Brugel was raised in Courtice in the city of Oshawa, Ontario. Her initial goals were to become a professional dancer. Then, a growing rise meant that she had outgrown the dancers she had with. She acknowledged in a piece written by The Toronto Star that she was 6'1" tall, even when she was wearing heels. When I was outgrowing my male friends, I quit. A lot of former dancers go into acting. In the case of Brugel she was urged to do so by an acting teacher in the high school. The teacher encouraged her to participate in her school's production. The teacher advised her to attempt to play a part in the school's annual production. In the end, she was chosen to play Anne of Green Gables. The Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theater Program where she graduated in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts degree.
