The forceps-related injury that led to his famous "droopy" face is the reason for his birth. The accident caused a nerve was injured which led to his speech to become slurred. Stallone was a troubled child. He and Frank who was his brother were both adversely affected in childhood by the hostile relationship between their parents that eventually led to divorce. Stallone spent his childhood living in foster home. Stallone at the age of five was shifted by his father into Washington, D.C., and began his own beauty salon. Stallone spent a number of years in Maryland alongside his dad after the divorce of his parents in the year 1957. Stallone was a struggle in both academics and emotional aspects and was expelled from numerous schools.
