Mischa Barton

Barton is a famous British-American actor who is employed in the cinema TV, theater, and the stage. Slavs, Tony's show in the New York's Lincoln Center was her first theatre performance. She also played the main part in James Lapine's Twelve Dreams. She made her acting debut in the year 1996 by appearing on the American serial show All My Children, and she voiced a character in the Nickelodeon animated show KaBlam! The role she played was in the drama Lawn Dogs (1997) alongside Sam Rockwell, marking her first significant acting performance. Her film roles were notable in films, including M. Night Shyamalan's thriller about psychological issues The Sixth Sense (1999) as well as the Romantic comedy Notting Hill (1999). Also, in 1999 she starred as a character in the crime-thriller by an independent company called Pups. Barton as Evan Rachel Wood's lover on the ABC series Once and Again in 2001 as well as in the independent drama Lost and Delirious in 2001. Her role was as Marissa Cooper on the Fox television series The O.C. in 2003-2006 her performance was recognized with two Teen Choice Awards. Barton was named the "It Girl from 2003" by Entertainment Weekly because she played the character. Since then, Barton has acted in the drama Closing the Ring, directed by Richard Attenborough, as well as the comedies St Trinian's and the Assassination of a High School President.
