Jennifer Nettles

Nettles was influenced and inspired by a wonderful combination of blues, rock folk, blues, and soul which is evident the music she sings. She began her singing career in 1996 while performing with Soul Miner's daughter in Decatur and Atlanta and Decatur music scene. Nettles started singing when she was just seven years old. She's never afraid to show her charm and has no hesitation in writing and performing soul-stirring songs that have engaging words. At times her tunes are loaded with astonishing depth and personality, whereas others make the listener awestruck and in awe. Referred to by the name of Jennifer Nettles Band, the band regularly visits famous venues such as The Variety Playhouse (Atlanta) as well as the 40W (Athens), and the Mercury Lounge (New York City). The band's music has a lot of poetry, and she sings with a great sense of humor. They're sure to attract new admirers and make them happy.
