Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a prosperous family. Doody is the third child in the family. She attended a convent, and developed an interest to the arts. Later, she studied at Dublin's National College of Fine Arts of Dublin however, she left because she was not motivated. The thought was that she'd have a rest for a while to get her bearings. Meanwhile, while sitting in a cafe with her buddies when she was approached by a photographer in a still mode who was asking her if she'd want to do a modeling. She agreed, thinking she would be able to take the money to pocket cash. Soon, she was working professionally as modeling. Modeling contracts lead to commercials, and she was able to travel the globe. Then, one day, a casting director saw her work and suggested that she attempt acting instead. In the year she turned 19, the casting director accompanied her to London and she was able to win an audition to be a part of A View to a Kill the newest James Bond film. It was her passion for acting that led her to pursue it as a career. Her first film was followed by a couple of TV dramas that were shot in London as well as Dublin. But, her breakthrough came in 1989, when she portrayed the Aryan Seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
